25.08.19 – Mr & Mrs Hodgson

From my first meeting with Bethany Rankin the Wedding Planner I knew I would be in safe and professional hands. She took all the worry and stress out of the planning and was flexible with changes right up until 3 days before the wedding (I don’t know how she does it). If it wasn’t for Beth, I can guarantee I would not of booked this hotel for my wedding.

On the day every member of staff from the reception team, to Lauren who was there on the day who also did a great job even to the housekeepers in the morning smiled and said good morning was lovely to witness and it goes a long way.  The meals on the day came out altogether, and there were no mistakes, everyone got what they ordered and we were not waiting in between courses.

I can honestly say our wedding could not have gone better, thank you to the whole team.

24.08.19 – Mr & Mrs Cross

Thankyou to all at Fairfield Manor for making our day perfect. We had an issue the night before the wedding but Martin one of the night porters sorted the issue straight away and was amazing, he is a credit to the building and goes out of his way to make sure the issue was dealt with. Laura who ran the day kept asking if everything was okay or if they was anything I needed, staff was so helpful. Beth who organised the wedding made sure everything was organised and was always efficient with communicating with me and making sure I understood everything and I was happy with everything. The staff all went out of their way to help and make sure my day ran smoothly i felt part of their family so thank you again to all that was involved.

10.08.19 – Lynda Ellis (Bride’s Mother)

I would like to thank everyone at the Mercure Fairfield Manor hotel for the absolutely fantastic wedding we had there recently for my daughter and now son in law. Beth was very thorough, friendly and professional at all times. Nothing was too much trouble. She managed to sort out some issues for us, even coming in from her holiday and days off to ensure everything ran smoothly.

The venue was amazing, food and drink lovely and the staff a credit to the hotel. I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to others. Thank you once again!

I had an Asian Muslim wedding at the Mercure hotel in York and the venue was able to cater to our needs with their excellent facilities on site. The service was fantastic, everything was done by the staff at the venue. They were very helpful. Throughout the whole process from booking until the day of the wedding, I dealt with Bethany Rankin who helped run things smooth as possible for me on this special day and overall the whole day went perfect.
